Chapter five, The listener

Keeychee trembled softly as she peered down the hall. She was shocked, more than ever, that a girl who she had once attempded to kill now sat, just down this hallway, talking softly.

After moving into the cottage, her life had changed. Instead of all the hard training and missions, her life now was filled with berry gathering, and cleaning. She wasn't complaining though.

Now she wanted to listen in on 'them', find out more about her 'murderee'. She started down the hallway but was stopped by a call.
"Keeychee!!!"
She sprinted down the hall then, slowly, she opened the door.
"You called?" She said timidly.
"Yes. Please could you bring us the tea on the top of the left cupboard."
"Sure." Keychee said, sighing smoothly.

5 minutes later, Keychee stood stock still outside the door. She could here nothing. Pressing her body flat against the floor, she pushed her head hard to the door.
"It was you?" Came the voice of her caregiver.
"Yes. I'm sure. She tried to kill me!" Followed the voice of the girl who she had tried to kill.

Keychee's heart took a leap. How did she know it was her?
"Yes well, I think she may have been blackmailed into it, so hard to tell, but really she is a nice girl, don't hold it against her." A slow sigh followed.

There came the sound of moving chairs. Keychee made to stand but something held her back. All to soon the door opened. Keychee looked up into the angered faces of her victims.
