Chapter Four, The Guide Lady

Kacey smiled as she skipped over the bridge, the sun shining. She headed left now aiming for the cottage on the far left hill. She was on her way to see 'The Guide Lady'. All of the village visited her to have their questions answered.

She started to a run as she slipped into the forest, it was silly to linger here as bears were thought to roam. She tripped and fell face first onto the molten ground. A foot pressed against her back and she went rigged.
"I'm not a bear. Do not worry."
The Guide Lady...it had to be! Kacey rolled over and pulled herself up.

"You shouldn't linger here!" Said The Guide Lady. "To dangerous!"
"I was on my way to see you," Kacey explained gingerly.
"In that case....off we go!"

They set out over the hill that loomed ahead until 10 minutes later meeting a friendly looking oaken cottage.

"Please, let us go in."

Kacey expected her to pull out a big brass key and unlock the door but instead she took the gold knocker in her creased had at raped it swiftly three times. They waited a minute, then two but still no - one answered.

Finally after several minutes of waiting the door creaked open.
"Hello Key." Said The Guide Lady.
The door opened wider and there stood the girl with that piercing look. The one who once tried to kill.

Chapter Three, Now for Keychee

Francesca's eyes wavered. She was beginning to think she wasn't cut out for this. Her head throbbed. Her hand shook violently and the steal knife dropped with a clatter to the ground.
"I can't do it!" She screamed her eyes filling with tears.
A group of people began to call her 'The Freak' but were quickly silenced by an old lady who then began to talk to her.

"Sweetheart, tell me whats wrong, tell me your story, open your heart...I will help you to make a cover story. I will protect you." She said her voice struggling to be warm and welcoming.
"That's very kind of you but...they will be coming for me soon! I won't be able to hide from them! They will kill me!" Francesca replied worriedly.
"Who is they?" The lady asked.
"Flying Apes," was the mere reply.
The ladies eyes opened.
"Do not tell anyone else this, you are now Keychee Mamarke, my adopted granddaughter from.... Halikianda South. My name is Penelope Mamarke, your new grandmother."
"Oh well, thank you but they will be..." Francesca was interrupted by the pot hole opening and three heartily men stepping in.

"WHERE IS FRANCESCA PEPOLEY!" One yelled his voice echoing over the entire shelter but Francesca couldn't here his last words as the second they had arrived she was sniffled away with Penelope, into another room, even deeper under the ground.
Although Francesca tried to keep her eyes focused on where she was going she couldn't help noticing Penelope whispering something into the ear of another man before she was plunged into absolute darkness.
