Chapter Two, That look I see

The Waners sat to one side of the storm shelter. Peter Kacey's Dad held is arms round his three girls, Sanurita, Kacey's Mum, Kacey herself, and Paige, Kacey's younger sister. Above, the storm was raging, they could hear huge thumps as trees hit he ground, The sound of gushing water from he river, all along with a heavy swirling sound, which they new was he tornado.

Kacey thought back to the face she saw, crouching, eyes wide like she was about to go yet, when she had looked at Kacey, her eyes had grown wide, as though she had recognised her from somewhere, though Kacey was sure she had never met her.

"Mum?" Paige asked her voice waving a bit.
"Yes sweet heart?" Sunurita said softly.
"Will this storm end?" She said even more shaken.
"I don't...." Sunurita began.
The noise of the storm grew louder as the pothole was opened and a young girl stepped into he shelter.
As Francesca turned Kacey's heart slid.
The girl from before, looking at her with that horrible look her eyes wide in recognition, a steel knife in her hand.

Chapter One, Hidden Down Under

Francesca sat hidden, deep inside the earth, waiting for the call of the Apes. As she heard heavy footsteps above her she remembered he mission, her mission to kill, bring death to the so called 'Waner' family. They, without even knowing it had torn apart the Flying Apes system.

Flying Apes was a secret society. Made up of hundreds of families trained into harsh discipline, skills, and speed. The Waners had torn this apart. Jonkihe Warner, the Warner from the previous generation, had killed the master of Flying Apes. Now they wanted to kill the girl,
Kacey as punishment for this offence.

Francesca new what she had to do. As soon as she heard the Apes called she had to make her way from the tunnel and over the bridge. Here she had to slide unnoticed into the underground storm shelter. Keeping hidden, she must steal the girl and bring her back.
Known for her agility, Francesca was ready, scared, but ready.

Hearing the thud above, she stood, and began the long tunneling journey, to the bridge.

Prologue

A piercing scream hit Kacey's ears, making her heart pound violently.
"Mum! Dad! Where are you?" She called frantically.
No answer.
She looked out the window, into the gale, the wind blustering leaves from the trees.
Running down the stairs, Kasey swung herself around, snatching her coat as she hurriedly strapped up her shoes.
Running full speed down the front path she quickly tied up her hair, desperate to make some use of her free arms.
She knew where she had to go.
It was obvious that a tornado was coming, meaning that she had to get to the underground shelter before this weather started heating up.
Down the lane, through the alley, over the bride to the small pothole above the underground shelter.
Holding her notebook in her mouth Kacey bent over, her fingers scrambling over the pothole until she found the clasp.
She took the first step down and was about to take another when she heard a scream, even more piercing than the last, echo over the bridge.

Looking up out of the pothole she saw a small child about to jump over into the rushing water and was about to cry out, but something made her look further.
This was when she first saw Flying Apes.
